Manka Varghese, Caryn Park and I worked with the King County Office of Equity and Social Justice (ESJ) to bring mindful awareness and compassion to King County's equity and social justice strategic planning process.  We facilitated ESJ strategic planning workshops across King County's departments and agencies, led focus groups to increase involvement in the process across county hierarchies, analyzed the data we gathered, and offered King County leadership our findings and recommendations for further work.
